October’s Lunch & Learn features Donna Pulliam, Intake and Community Resource Specialist, with Developmental Disability Advocates (DDA). DDA has been planning, linking and advocating for individuals with with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Jefferson County for 45+ years. Donna will highlight service coordination, waiver support, and funded partners. This presentation is for individuals living in Jefferson County of all ages.

November Lunch & Learn: Infant Feeding & Early Development with Grow Well

Join GDSA and special guest speaker Kim Lorenz, Pediatric Occupational Therapist from Grow Well. Grow Well was created to support babies and parents during the first year of life, especially when feeding, development, or transitions feel stressful or overwhelming. Kim will provide education on navigating feeding challenges and supporting early development in your loved one with Ds.

December Lunch & Learn: Physical Activities with KEEN

Join GDSA and special guest speaker Elizabeth Novak, Program Manager with KEEN St. Louis.
KEEN’s mission is to empower youth with disabilities and impact volunteer coaches through participation in free, non-competitive, one-on-one programs of physical activity and fun, supporting the overall health and well-being of all participants. Elizabeth will discuss the programs & events at KEEN, as well as ways to stay active during the winter months. KEEN programs are open to all youth ages 5-21 with physical or developmental disabilities.

January Lunch & Learn: Pujols Family Foundation

Join GDSA and special guest speaker Becca Lang, Program Manager, of the Pujols Family Foundation. The Pujols Family Foundation is a national 501(c)(3) organization benefiting people with Down syndrome, disabilities, and/or life threatening illnesses as well as children and families living in impoverished conditions in the Dominican Republic. In this Lunch & Learn, participants will learn about the mission of PFF, as well as discover upcoming events and programs available for individuals with Ds of all ages.

February Lunch & Learn: Equine Assisted Services with Ride On St. Louis
Tuesday, February 16, 2026 from 12pm-1pm on Zoom
Join GDSA and special guest speaker Marita Wassman, CEO and Cofounder, of Ride On St. Louis. Ride On St. Louis offers services that incorporate the equine environment and horse-human interaction, to support wellness, integration, and the achievement of functional goals. Marita will review equine-assisted services (EAS) for individuals of all ages with Ds.
