50th Anniversary Gala
For 50 years, the Gateway Down Syndrome Association, (formerly the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis) has championed inclusion, acceptance, and opportunity for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Because of partners like you, individuals with Down syndrome and those who love them are seen, supported, celebrated, and empowered, through every stage of life.
Join us for an unforgettable night as we celebrate Gateway Down Syndrome Association’s 50 Year Legacy of Love, and A Future Without Limits!
About the Event
GDSA board of directors members Lisa Nichols and Ray Kleeman are the co-chairs of this special evening and have been helping to create a night you won’t soon forget. Each gala seat includes pre-dinner hors d’oeuvres, three-course dinner, live entertainment by singer/songwriter Rachael Lampa, as well as special performances by our friends with Down syndrome, access to silent and live auctions, and a parting gift to keep as a memento of the evening.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Your sponsorship of our 50th Anniversary Gala: A Legacy of Love, A Future Without Limits, does more than honor five decades of meaningful impact. It actively strengthens the advocacy, education, and community connections that families rely on today, and will depend on for generations to come.
Together, we honor a remarkable legacy and take bold, intentional steps toward a future where individuals with Down syndrome are welcomed, valued, and given every opportunity to thrive.
Live Entertainment: Rachael Lampa
Gateway Down Syndrome Association is honored to welcome award-winning singer-songwriter Rachael Lampa as the featured live entertainment for our 50th Anniversary Gala. Known for her powerful vocals, heartfelt storytelling, and authentic spirit, Rachael has inspired audiences for more than two decades with music that celebrates hope, belonging, resilience, and the inherent worth of every person.
As a mother of a son with Down syndrome, her connection to the disability community is deeply personal, making her performance especially meaningful as we celebrate GDSA’s 50-year legacy of love and look toward a future without limits.
